Welcome to StoryTree. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StoryTree website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using StoryTree, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
StoryTree is intended for use by parents or legal guardians to create and manage storytelling experiences for their children.
- Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Children may listen to stories through a parent or guardian’s account but may not create accounts themselves.
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. Description of the Service
StoryTree is a subscription-based digital service that allows users to:
- Generate personalized children’s stories using artificial intelligence
- Upload voice recordings to create narrated stories
- Store and replay stories within a private family account
StoryTree does not operate as a public social network or content-sharing platform.
All stories and content generated within the Service are intended for personal family use only.
3. User Content
Users may upload or create content within the Service, including:
- Voice recordings
- Story prompts
- Generated stories
- Profile information
You retain ownership of the content you upload.
By uploading content, you grant StoryTree a limited license to store, process, and use that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
StoryTree will not sell user content or recordings to third parties.
4. Voice Recording and Cloning Consent
StoryTree may allow users to upload voice recordings to generate narrated content.
By uploading a voice recording, you confirm that:
- You own the rights to the voice being uploaded, or
- You have explicit permission from the person whose voice is being used.
You agree not to upload voices of individuals without their consent.
StoryTree is not responsible for misuse of the Service involving unauthorized voice uploads.
5. AI Generated Content
Stories generated by StoryTree are created using artificial intelligence systems.
Because of this:
- Content may occasionally contain inaccuracies or unexpected results
- StoryTree does not guarantee educational accuracy
- Generated stories should be reviewed by parents or guardians when appropriate
The Service is intended for entertainment and family bonding purposes.
6. Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for activity occurring under your account
StoryTree reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Subscription and Payments
Some features of StoryTree may require a paid subscription.
If you subscribe:
- You authorize recurring billing through the payment method provided.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or app store subscription management.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

StoryTree takes privacy seriously, particularly regarding children’s experiences.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload unlawful or harmful content
- Impersonate others
- Upload voices without consent
- Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service
StoryTree reserves the right to remove content that violates these rules.
10. Intellectual Property
The StoryTree platform, including its design, software, branding, and technology, is owned by StoryTree and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without permission.
11. Termination
StoryTree may suspend or terminate access to the Service if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your use poses a risk to the platform or other users
You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryTree shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or incidental damages
- Loss of data
- Interruptions in service
- Content generated through AI systems
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

StoryTree may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
